Banks Power iQ Back Up Camera

The iQ Back Up Camera is an optional accessory for your iQ Flash that is made by Banks Power.  This is the ideal way to gain visibility where you need it most…the rear end of your rig.  With this camera you will be able to see things that normally wouldn’t be in your line of visibility…like things that might be on the ground or even small children behind your rig.  You can mount it directly to the back of your Jeep to assist you with things like backing into or out of parking spaces, your garage or anywhere will you will need a line of sight behind you.  It is also great for keeping an eye on whatever you might be towing.

Banks Power Sidewinder Jeep Turbo System

You will finally be able to give your Jeep new life with the Sidewinder Turbo System for Jeeps that is made by Banks Power.  This system is easy to install and simply bolts on.  It has been designed to give you the utmost in terms of performance as well as the capability to crush rocks.  In fact, this system will transform your Jeep into a trail running, rock crushing, pavement eating monster.

With the Sidewinder in your rig, you will get an output of torque at 1600 RPM that is more than the peak amount of torque that your stock components can give you.  This aggressive profile for the torque is perfect for trail running and rock crawling applications.

The standard Sidewinder system will give you a PSI boost of 6.  If you want more power than that, you can always get the intercooler that is an optional accessory.  Also, Banks Power is planning to release an injection system of the water-methanol type very soon that will give you even more gains.

With this system, the Ram Air intake will be located with the same height that the stock intake had.  There is an optional Super Scoop available as well.  This will allow for the system to be able to pull in the denser, cooler air which then results in a system response and performance that is enhanced.  While the Super Scoop is highly recommended, it is not a requirement for the system to work properly. 

This turbo system is one that will be compatible with either the Monster Exhaust by Banks Power or the TorqueTube – another great Banks Power product.

There is also a double slip joint that enables proper fitment for the exhaust tube that you already have.  This ensures that you get a hold that is reliable right when and where you need it.

Banks Power Monster Exhaust

Why would you consider using an ill-fitting, cheap exhaust system on your rig?  The Monster Exhaust system that is made by Banks Power has been constructed from stainless steel that is long lasting and quite rugged.  It will give you a fit that is better than that of the competition too.  This is due to the fact that Banks Power makes this system to be able to reuse your factory installed hangers while it also maintains the proper clearance for each of the components under your rig.

Banks Power has been making improvements in air flow for close to 50 years now and as such, they have become masters at the art of getting the maximum amount of air flow while also getting the minimum amount of back pressure.  The Monster Exhaust system has a Monster Muffler that is polished stainless steel and is of the straight through variety.  The system also comes with the intermediate pipes that have been mandrel bent as well as a tailpipe that has also been mandrel bent.  These components allow for the exhaust flow to be nearly tripled while backpressure is cut by up to 98%.  There is also a rolled edge tip that measures 5 inches and is available in your choice of high temp black or chrome over stainless.  In order to assist in making it look good for a longer time, there is also an air gap that measures ½ of an inch that will keep the heat from being able to tarnish the finish.  All of this is topped off with a clamp that is adjustable which allows for you to be able to position the tip at the ideal place on the tail pipe.

Many mufflers of the straight through type will deliver a drone that is quite obnoxious.  This drone can actually make conversations near impossible.  The Monster muffler that is made by Banks Power has been sound tested extensively and has been designed with an expansion chamber that is quite unique.    It also features packing that is high temperature resistant.  This means that instead of that annoying drone, you get an exhaust note that is rich yet authoritative while still managing to be civil.  In other words, this system sounds just as great as it appears!

Banks Power Ram Air Filter Element

The Ram Air filter that is made by Banks Power is also called the Ram Air filter element.  This is an air filter that is meant to last to a lifetime.  It is one that is high flow and will decrease the amount of intake restriction which means that your engine will receive more of the cooler, denser air so that is will run more efficiently.  Even when this filter is dirty or wet it will outperform the more conventional types of air filters.  This is because it has a design that consists of multiple layers and as such it is better able to trap any sort of moisture.  It is also able to keep more of the debris and dust on the outer surface – which is oiled – which allows for the air to continue flowing smoothly.  This air filter also comes with a service kit for you to utilize every 30,000 to 50,000 miles.

The filter in question consists of many layers of cotton gauze that have been sandwiched in between screens that are made from aluminum.  With a construction such as this, these filters are better able to catch dirt, dust and debris before it can get into your engine and start causing problems.

Banks Power 3.6L Stinger System Performance System

This system that is made by Banks Power is only intended for use on the 2012 – 2014 Jeeps.  This is a power system that has been designed for both off road and street applications.  It features a Ram Air Intake system that is free breathing as well as a Monster Exhaust kit.  As such, the Stinger system will free your Jeep from air flow restrictions thereby improving the efficiency of your engine as well as enhancing the fuel economy and durability all while also giving you gains in power.  The exhaust note is one that is authoritative while still being civil.  You will also get an exhaust tip that is made from stainless steel and comes in your choice of finishes: high temp black or chrome over stainless steel.  The Stinger system is available with the Auto Mind Programmer or without it.

Monster Exhaust

This is one of the components in the Stinger System.  It has been constructed from stainless steel that is of a heavy gauge.  This exhaust system features a tail pipe that is supersized and has a diameter of 2 ½ inches as well as a tail pipe tip that is also made from stainless steel and has been polished until it has a mirror finish.  If that isn’t to your taste, you can also get the tip in black.  The system also comes with a performance muffler of the straight through variety.  This muffler is the least restrictive one in the entire industry and it will more than double the flow when compared to your factory installed muffler.

The Monster system will virtually eliminate any sort of back pressure going from the catalytic converter on back so that you get more efficiency and power while still retaining a civil exhaust note. 

The Monster system comes to you complete with the tip in your choice of finishes – black or chrome – as well as the tail pipe and the muffler.  All of these components have been fashioned from stainless steel.

Ram Air Intake

This is another of the components in the Stinger system that is made by Banks Power.  This system replaces that flat panel filter that the factory installed with one that is conical shaped and large.  This is a filter that will last you a lifetime as it also provides high flow filtration.  The opening for the Ram Air is one that puts the stock inlet to shame and it doesn’t have the 90 degree turns and bends that can kill your power by choking the flow of air.  The inlet is massive and the housing is enclosed while the tubes are much larger.  This means that restrictions are greatly reduced which dramatically increases the flow of air to the cylinders.
