iQ 2.0

This is the machine that you will need in order to use the navigation software that we just talked about.  It is basically a dashboard computer that is meant to help you with things related to your rig.  It has optional accessories too, such as the Backup Camera that will allow for you to be able to see things that would normally be out of your sight line behind you.  The iQ 2.0 is also Bluetooth capable so that you will be able to have hands free operation for streaming audio and for the phone.  Although it comes with an internal memory of 4 GB you can add a micro SDHC of up to an additional 8 GB.

Banks Power 3.6L Stinger System Performance System

This system that is made by Banks Power is only intended for use on the 2012 – 2014 Jeeps.  This is a power system that has been designed for both off road and street applications.  It features a Ram Air Intake system that is free breathing as well as a Monster Exhaust kit.  As such, the Stinger system will free your Jeep from air flow restrictions thereby improving the efficiency of your engine as well as enhancing the fuel economy and durability all while also giving you gains in power.  The exhaust note is one that is authoritative while still being civil.  You will also get an exhaust tip that is made from stainless steel and comes in your choice of finishes: high temp black or chrome over stainless steel.  The Stinger system is available with the Auto Mind Programmer or without it.

Monster Exhaust

This is one of the components in the Stinger System.  It has been constructed from stainless steel that is of a heavy gauge.  This exhaust system features a tail pipe that is supersized and has a diameter of 2 ½ inches as well as a tail pipe tip that is also made from stainless steel and has been polished until it has a mirror finish.  If that isn’t to your taste, you can also get the tip in black.  The system also comes with a performance muffler of the straight through variety.  This muffler is the least restrictive one in the entire industry and it will more than double the flow when compared to your factory installed muffler.

The Monster system will virtually eliminate any sort of back pressure going from the catalytic converter on back so that you get more efficiency and power while still retaining a civil exhaust note.

Ram Air Intake

Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System

Banks Power makes ram air intakes that they run comprehensive tests on before they release them for distribution and sale.  In these tests the systems must prove themselves repeatedly. 

The ram air intakes get their start as a prototype that is created using CAD software.  This software prototype is run through a variety of flow simulations that it must pass before it can be turned into a physical prototype.  The physical prototype is put to tests on a flow bench.  It must pass those tests before it can be tested on an actual vehicle.  If and when all of those various types of tests have been passed, the system will then be tested against competitor and stock intakes.

A Little Story

Banks has a very interesting history and I will just gloss over it a bit for you here.  It all started when Gale Banks was only a kid.  At 14 years old, he did a complete rebuild on his mother’s 1931 Model A Ford.  By the time he was finished fiddling with it and put it back together, it had an additional 40 horsepower!  He continued with his passion and at only 16 years of age he founded Banks Power.  In the ensuing 50 years, he grew the company into the powerhouse that it is today.

What is it?
